"I have been getting my meat from you for quite a while now and would like to say how impressed with your customer service I am. Other similar firms could learn some lessons from you. The meat is beautiful AND high welfare,and always arrives still frozen in useful size packages. It's good to be able to recycle all the main packaging too. One small thing...could we have the 12 pack of slightly smaller steak burgers back cos I can't really manage 2 of the larger ones!!

Lamb burgers - tasty, succulent and firm, very good quality and enjoyed by all. A hit! Steak burgers- also very popular and great taste, a full, rich flavour. A hit! Unsmoked back bacon - very good, no fat, again a full flavour, not salty or water-filled like supermarket fare. We will definitely order again."

"I live alone, am in my seventies, and I was delighted to discover that the stewing and braising steak had been divided into packets of 250g each. I have cooked a couple of the packs of the stewing steak, which I see is described as shin of beef. I cooked it with as many vegetables and herbs as I could find, including sweet potato, and the gravy it produced was almost creamy. I haven't had that result for many years, and the meat was out of this world. I have given the piece of topside to my daughter, who will be cooking it for her family and will report back when she does. “Since we heard about Pipers Farm some years ago, we have enjoyed its wonderful products both in Winchester and after moving to Guernsey. The meat and poultry, which Peter and Henri produce is as good as any we have known and it is delivered to your door in first class condition. We know that the livestock have been well-tended and humanely slaughtered, and that the meat is properly hung before dispatch. We have recommended Pipers Farm to family and friends (and hope that we have added slightly to its customer base). Although we have an excellent local butcher here in Guernsey, we find it very useful to keep the freezer well stocked with everyday items from Pipers Farm such as bacon, ham, sausages, rib eye steaks and lamb neck fillets – not to mention their excellent chicken stock!” Mr Greany, Guernsey

“Happy New year! I just have to write and tell you that the gammon joint I placed in the order above, and which was the first I had ordered from you, was the best ham I have ever tasted. It was absolutely heavenly when cooked and still fantastic cold! I will be ordering another one as soon as possible. I'd say the same about your sirloin and smoked bacon, it's just that I was particularly struck with the ham as I had never been particularly enthused by hams before..until now!! My mother came down one day and tried it herself and I know she was equally impressed as she now wants to order a joint herself, which pleases me as I have been trying to persuade my mother and brother to order from you for a while.

I have never tasted anything as good as your boned and stuffed turkey - it was tender, moist and full of flavour, and the stuffing was delicious. "I always get my Christmas meat from your shop in St Leonards but find it too far to travel for everyday shopping. I just wanted to give some feedback on the meat we received. I bought a Spring Value Pack and have found it to be good value for money and of top quality. In particular, the bacon is excellent, the minced beef seems to be more meat & less fat than the mince you can buy in supermarkets & smelt just like I was cooking steak when I added it to the pan and the ruby beef steaks are superb. We also really enjoyed the ready to heat lamb & aubergine - a ready meal you don't have to feel guilty about! On top of this, your delivery driver was very pleasant and arrived at the agreed time. I'm busy recommending your service to everybody I know and I still have a freezer full of meat! “What a treat! I recently bought a 2.8kg frozen chicken for my family of 4 and was delighted with the quality and quantity of the bird. There was no water from it during the defrosting and no next day chicken smell in the fridge. Not only did we eat a roast dinner but the stock made soup for 6 and the left overs a curry for 4 with still some over for packed lunches.
