2011 Simplest Christmas Evenings come to an end

Our Simplest Christmas Evenings have proved to be very popular. We are running our final one on Thursday from 6.30pm – 7.15pm which is already looking pretty full! Iain of Smiths Wines, just a few doors along Magdalen Road, will be there again offering samples and pairing the perfect wines. We'll be cooking up some turkey amongst other festive items and everyone will receive a 10% discount on the night. We are going to hold similar evenings focusing on more everyday items in the New Year and if you'd like us to keep you informed of future dates just drop us an email – support@pipersfarm.com. Christmas is coming...and the geese are getting fat!

Our geese are looking great at the moment, the warmer weather means there has been abundance of grass for them over the autumn which we top up with a small amount of wholemeal. At the moment they're spending their days preening their Hereford bull companion!

We will be selling fantastic 2 week hung whole Geese for Christmas this year, or if the prospect of cooking a whole goose is a little daunting or there's smaller numbers to feed, we always have our popular 'Simplest Goose'.
